About us
We are a Swedish clothing brand that designs and produces unique, beautiful clothing designs, where comfort is the focus. Since the start, we have grown and today we have five full-time employees at the office/warehouse in Södermalm, Stockholm.
Our goal is to design and produce incredibly comfortable clothes that you won't want to take off. Before every new product we create, we always think about what we ourselves want to buy and wear. We believe that everyone has clothes that they throw on when they want to relax, we sell just that. Feeling Good Looks Good, quite simply!
Our founder Stefan is the designer of our wonderful clothes. He has an incredible sense of color, shape and material. His passion for design began at a young age when he explored the world. He spent many years in Hawaii and Asia where he surfed, meditated and did yoga. After several years abroad, he felt it was time to move home and fulfill his dreams. What he most discovered during his travels were all the beautiful materials, the feeling of calm and relaxation and comfort. When he came home, that was exactly what he wanted to share. He started importing hammocks - because in a hammock you are yourself and completely relaxed. But he quickly realized that he wanted to have more outlet for his creativity and started designing clothes instead. Where the feeling you have in a hammock becomes synonymous with his clothes. What could be a more fitting name than Hängmatta?
Stefan is still working on creating amazing clothes in new models and colors. We are all working on constantly improving ourselves and being able to offer you even more creative, stylish and comfortable clothes. We love that you are with us on this journey and we want to do everything we can to make sure you don't want anything else but our clothes! :)
Because we always start from ourselves and our values, it is important for us to manufacture our garments under fair and good working conditions. That is why from spring 2025 we will produce all our clothes in Portugal. Choosing production in Portugal means several advantages. We ensure that those who manufacture our clothes work under fair conditions with fair wages. Portugal is also known for its expertise in textile production, which guarantees high quality and sustainable garments. At the same time, we reduce our environmental impact through shorter transport times and faster deliveries.
